American Idol Tonight
May 9, 2006So, I was expecting some good stuff tonight. When there’s only 4 people left, I think that’s the least I should be able to expect. Normally (with the exception of Elliott, he’d be a “occasionally” such as last week), these guys are pretty good.
But honestly, I think I got ripped off tonight. What was up with Chris’s second song? It was a disaster. I do have to admit though, Taylor did pretty good tonight.
So the question remains…who’s going home tomorrow?
Taylor’s definitely staying in. I’ve never really cared for Elliott (he did one good song last week, but that’s it), but I guess if you like that kind of thing he did good tonight. I never thought I’d have to make this choice until the finals, but either Katharine or Chris is going home tomorrow. Chris at least had an OK first song, so I’m going to have to say Katherine.
But if America suddenly acquires taste overnight and decides Elliott shall go home, I’ll be very happy.

One thing I love about reality shows is how the fans come out of the woodwork. It’s a shared experience and that’s why it’s fun to talk about it.
I agree that tonight wasn’t that good–and I’m an Elvis fan. But I think no matter what the crazy judges say about Elliott, he’ll be packing up tomorrow. He’s been on the bottom and lucked out in previous weeks, so it’s his turn now.
And thank goodness.
